Rennie Financial was founded with the goal of ensuring that your individual needs are met. We understand that no two clients are the same and that your accounting and tax needs are unique to you. We will personally visit you at your home if you are unable to make it into the office. We will also personally sit and review and explain any questions you may have about strategies and planning. Our team of professionals understands that picking up the phone is often better than relying on online correspondence. We tailor our services to meet your needs.

Adam Rennie

Managing Director

Adam obtained his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Simon Fraser University in 2006, obtaining the distinction of the Dean’s Honor Roll in his senior year. Shortly thereafter Adam articled with one of the big four accounting firms, earning his CA designation in 2009 while working as a member of both the tax and assurance groups. In early 2010 Adam Rennie founded Rennie Financial with the objective of delivering exceptional personalized service and creative solutions for businesses and their owners. Today, as both a tax and assurance partner, Adam combines a broad range of knowledge that uniquely positions him as a highly sought-after resource to his broad range of clients. Adam is the proud father of two children and enjoys crossfit, running, golf, skiing and waterskiing in his spare time. Adam’s mission as founder and managing partner of the firm is to develop top tier professional accountants while delivering exception customer service to clients.

David Wood

Senior Manager

David has been with our firm since its inception and has more than 40 years experience in public practice. He provides a variety of tax and accounting services to both individual, trust and corporate clients. He enjoys spending time with family and friends, walking, music and hobbies such a s stamp collecting.

Olga Sukhinina

Senior Staff Accountant

Olga joined Rennie Financial in 2012 after working in various accounting roles since 1999. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and Credit from Kyiv National Economic University in 2000, and completed the Advanced Accounting program in 2018. Since joining the firm, Olga has been an integral part of the tax and accounting groups serving a wide range of private corporations and their owners with their tax planning and compliance needs. Olga is the proud mother of two children and enjoys hiking in her spare time.

Artemis Hou

Senior Staff Accountant

Artemis has been an integral part of Rennie Financial since 2018, where she focuses on accounting services and helps clients navigate various income tax matters, including personal and corporate tax compliance and planning.
Originally from China, Artemis moved to Vancouver, BC, after earning her Bachelor of Management degree. She furthered her education by completing the Diploma in Accounting Program at the University of British Columbia and is now a proud member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of BC.
Beyond her professional life, Artemis finds joy in travel, movies, dining out, and spending time with family and friends.

Clyde Dela Fuente

Staff Accountant

Clyde has broad experience in professional services such as assurance, consultancy, and accounting with private firms across the Philippines, Australia, and Singapore. He was born and educated in the Philippines, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and his Philippine CPA license in 2015. Clyde has worked for one of the big four accounting firms in Philippines as well as various multinational firms. He earned a Master of Business Administration from the University Canada West. Clyde joined Rennie Financial, where he provides accounting and tax services to individuals, trusts, and corporations. In his free time, Clyde enjoys jogging, hiking, and cycling.

Carol Penny

Administrative Assistant

Born and raised in Vancouver, Carol has been with the firm since inception where she occupies the roles of Office Manager and Executive Assistant. Before joining us, Carol spent over 20 years at Mohawk Oil filling a similar role and was then employed by VanCity Visa as one of 2 Marketing Officers. It was while working for these organizations that she came to value working for companies that are conscious of not only their social and environmental responsibilities but who also, first and foremost, value their staff members. Outside of work Carol enjoys her time walking the seawall, reading and dining out.
